GREEK DIGITAL NOMAD VISA PROGRAM

The Greek digital nomad visa was announced during the summer of 2021. The Greece government announced they would be “welcoming digital nomads to live in the country for up to two years if they meet the requirements.”

WHO CAN APPLY?

Any non-EU citizen who holds a remote employment contract with a company registered outside Greece and a monthly salary of at least €3,500.

HOW IT WORKS?

Collect the following documents:

1. A valid passport for at least six months after your return date, and it must have two blank pages.

2. Application form, which you can submit either online or in person.

3. Two passport-sized photos

4. A declaration letter to state the reason for your stay in Greece. You must mention the following:

• That you will be applying for a digital nomad visa.

• That you will be working for a company registered outside Greece.

• Relevant info for your job.

• That you meet the financial requirements.

5. Proof of employment, which can be an employment contract or a letter from your employer that states that you will be working as a digital nomad.

6. Proof that you are a remote worker. You need to provide documents that prove that you will receive an income as a remote worker.

7. Proof of income. You must submit a bank statement or a work contract as evidence.

8. A clean criminal record.

9. Proof of accommodation in Greece. You must submit the address where you will be living.

10. Proof of health insurance.

11. A return flight ticket to prove that you will be going back to your home country.

12. A medical certificate.
